Great Coaches Are at the Core of New West Little League…
NWBA’s coaches are mentors, motivators, and leaders. They are parents and members of the local community who generously volunteer their time to coaching our association’s Little League players.
Some of our coaches have played and coached baseball (and/or softball) for many years, some at very high levels, while others are fairly new to baseball and are learning about this great game alongside their children, from T-Ball Division and up. You can read more about some of NWBA’s coaches on our Coach Spotlight page.
We encourage you to learn more about what’s involved in coaching for NWBA, and we invite you to reach out to us if you have an interest in coaching with us.
Of note, all NWBA coaches need to get a Criminal Record Check (CRC), which they can do online. Coaches should contact the NWBA Registrar for information on how to access the online CRC checking system.
NWBA recommends National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) certification for all of its coaches, and each NWBA coach should also complete the Coaching Association of Canada’s Safe Sport Training module to ensure the protection of all our Little League athletes.
